The certificate for nurses who deliver preventive advice in their own right. Its centre of gravity is Delivering Better Oral Health: which intervention belongs to which risk group and age band, what fluoride concentration goes with what patient, and how the BPE translates into an action. The other half is the part people underestimate — behaviour change. Knowing the right advice is not the same as knowing how to get someone to act on it, and the assessment tests both.
