Which of the three apps do I need?
If you are a trainee dental nurse working towards registration with the General Dental Council, you want the Diploma app — it covers the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing across 10 units. If you are already registered and taking a post-registration certificate in radiography, oral health education, sedation, orthodontics, special care or implants, you want the post-registration app. If you are a first responder, event medic or ambulance service worker taking FREC 3 or FREC 4, you want the FREC app. They are separate apps and separate purchases; none includes another.
How many questions can I try for free on this site?
217 in total — 65 from the Diploma app, 72 from the post-registration app and 80 from the FREC app. That is exactly the sample each app's free version unlocks, no more and no less. The remaining questions are in the paid apps, but every study guide on this site is free to read in full.
Is there a Med Revision login or account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to log into. Every study guide and practice question on this site is free to read and use straight away, and the apps keep your progress on your own device rather than on our servers. If you are looking for a login, you may be thinking of your training provider's or awarding body's own portal, which is separate from us.

No. Med Revision is an independent revision resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or accredited by NEBDN and Qualsafe Awards, the General Dental Council, or any awarding organisation or training provider. Always work from your own provider's syllabus and current published guidance.
Which post-registration certificates are covered?
Six: Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education, Dental Sedation Nursing, Orthodontic Dental Nursing, Special Care Dental Nursing and Dental Implant Nursing. Each has its own question pool, its own topics and its own timed mock test inside the app, so revising for one never means wading through another.
Does the FREC app cover both levels?
Yes — FREC 3 and FREC 4, in one app, with 585 questions between them. Each level keeps its own question pool and its own timed mock test, and the app adds a full anatomy and physiology topic that both levels lean on. ECG questions show the rhythm strip on the question itself, which is how FREC 4 examines them.
