Built for the way the Diploma is actually assessed

Multiple-choice recall under time pressure rewards two things: knowing the material, and having practised retrieving it. This does both.

Every answer explains itself

All 602 questions carry an explanation that says why the right answer is right, why the others are wrong, and where it comes from. Getting one wrong teaches you something.

Structured by Diploma unit

The 10 units match the shape of the qualification, so you can revise the unit you are weakest on rather than shuffling the whole bank.

A mock test that matches the format

65 single-answer questions in 90 minutes, so you find out what that pace feels like before it counts.

Read aloud while you do something else

Built-in voice-over reads questions and explanations in a British English voice, which is useful on a commute or while your hands are busy.

The 10 units

Each unit has a study guide covering what it examines. 5 of them also have a free quiz on this site.

Revise anywhere, with the whole question bank

This site publishes the app's free sample. Dental Nurse Exam Revision carries the full bank offline, so you can revise on the bus, between patients, or the night before.

Common questions

What is the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing?

It is a Level 3 qualification for trainee dental nurses in the UK. Passing it, alongside the other registration requirements, is the route most dental nurses take to registration with the General Dental Council. It is assessed by a written Knowledge Test and a Record of Experience.

How many questions can I try for free on this site?

65, spread across 5 of the 10 units. That is exactly the sample the free version of the app unlocks — no more and no less. The other 5 units are available in the app.

Is this an official practice test?

No. Med Revision is an independent revision resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or accredited by NEBDN, the General Dental Council, or any awarding organisation or training provider. Always work from your own provider's syllabus and current published guidance.

Do the questions cover the whole syllabus?

The bank is organised across all 10 units, from Professional Practice through to Risks and Medical Emergencies, and is written against standard dental nursing texts and current published guidance such as the GDC Standards for the Dental Team. It is revision practice, not a replacement for your course.
