Special Care Dental Nursing
Consent and capacity law, disability and reasonable adjustments, conditions and their oral impact, access and domiciliary care.
The certificate for nurses supporting patients whose care has to be adapted — because of a disability, a medical condition, a mental health problem, frailty, or a barrier that has nothing to do with their mouth. It is the most law-heavy of the six: the Mental Capacity Act and its five principles, who may consent for an adult and who may not, safeguarding, and the Equality Act duty to make reasonable adjustments. The clinical half runs across the conditions themselves and what each one does to a mouth or to the medicines a patient takes, then out of the surgery altogether into domiciliary visits, transport, scheduling and the settings care can be delivered in.

How this certificate is examined in the app
The app treats each certificate as its own qualification. Its 75-question, 90-minute mock test draws only on this certificate's own 220 questions — a mock that mixed in another one while you are revising this would tell you nothing useful.
The other certificates
All in the same app — one purchase covers all 6.
Dental Radiography
Physics and dose, IR(ME)R duties, projection technique, image faults and radiographic anatomy.
Oral Health Education
